Welcome to YOUR Members' Page Update 17th September 2010Hurricane Spear has returned to Pallingham following TWO outings onto the race course. As expected he needs to grow into himself, and will make a great three year old prospect. The plan is to feed him with high carbohydrate feed and build his muscles as he grows. He will be schooled further to ensure he drops his head in running and has the strength to compete over distances which we always thought were more suitable, but only available to older horses (1 1/4 miles plus).Gary suggests we run him in February next (all-weather) in order to get him back in the swing of things. It is then likely that he will enter races from early in the 2011 grass season. Owners are free to contact us at any time for updates and we will happily welcome you all for a visit when you want to come - just call us first!
UPDATE - 20 June 2010Hurricane Spear has continued to impress Gary Moore and has been exercising well on the 7 and 6 furlong gallops at Cisswood. We are currently looking at specific races to aim him at with the help of Gary's handicap & placing guru David Wilson. As we discussed, the distances are not available until later in the flat season for 2 Year-olds and we expect to run over 7 furlongs at a suitable "galloping" track such as Newbury or Sandown. Looking at other Hurricane Run progeny, it is unlikely that they will progress well on any distance shorter. Harry is reported to be fast and very mature for his age; both in physical ability and approach to his work. This should bode well for a few runs from late August / September. To arrange a visit any time please call: Stuart on 07946 017115 or Lo-Call 0845 393 8498

It is likely that colt will be raced quite early as a 2 year old as he is showing early signs of being precocious and his physique lends itself to sprints. We envisage entering him into training February 2011. Members will receive a substantial discount on price - saving over £500 on quoted prices.CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS on the colt The filly meanwhile is more likely to be a later runner. Her spectacular breeding by Derby winning Motivator, makes her a great group or classic candidate. We expect to see her in pre-training from December 2011, with entry into full training in late Spring 2011. She is a very valuable animal and we are offering the lowest possible prices to allow members to benefit from her potential.
